The US space agency NASA said that Uranus will meet Earth and Sun on October 19, so that Uranus can be seen with the naked eye as a blue dot.
The phenomenon of convergence between the sun, the earth and any other planet, when the three are at one distance and one time, is the best time to see Uranus, where it is at the closest distance from the earth, and a face fully lit by the sun.
According to NASA, Uranus will meet on October 19, meaning that the icy planet and the sun will be on both sides of the earth.
"Uranus will be visible all night, and its blue and green color is unmistakable," says Jane Houston of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
He added that the color of Uranus "may be bright enough to see the naked eye.
